Hillary’s Independence (from Reality) Day

In a statement released July 5th, the 199th anniversary of Venezuela’s Independence, Hillary Rodham Clinton, U.S. Secretary of State, congratulated the people of Venezuela and expressed this amazing sentiment:

We share a common history of emancipation and democratic aspiration.

We’ll be waiting to hear further from the State Department on her nominations of Mel Gibson for “husband of the year,” and Kim Jong-il for “best dressed despot.” Add your thoughts below.
