All I see in this bill is more money for the government to waste, higher prices on everything, a greater dependence on foreign oil, larger deficits, more borrowing. and junk electric cars that cost 40,000 and go 40 miles before needing a four+ hour recharge period. I don't know about you all, but I can't afford such luxuries to impress my neighbors. Heck, I can't afford to be an American anymore.

I wrote a comment on the Open Thread this morning before this piece was posted. This is the skeleton needed
for Cap & Trade with all the rotten unsavory flesh stripped off. If the Dems are able to pass this they will graft the
flesh back on bit by bit, hidden in 2300 page 'must pass' legislation.

The Dems, in order to make this legislation hard to resist, have tagged new rules and regulations to Gulf Coast eco-
nomic recovery funding. Of course putting the Repb and those opposed to more stringent environmental regulations
in the position of voting against funding for the Gulf Coast.

To make it hard to resist for farm state Congressmen, they have tagged on the ethanol and bio-diesel subsidies that
are about to expire. These subsidies have been languishing, waiting to be added to some important legislation. They
were in the FINRA legislation, but were stripped out at the last minute as a trade off, for who knows what. These subsi-
dies are no longer needed and should be allowed to expire.

Cass Sunstein, as the Czar of rules, can take the most meager shell of a bill and turn it into the full-blown C&T that
we've grown to know and hate.

I just hope our Congressmen are sufficiently awake to fight this bill. After all it's Friday before a six-week vacation, now
tell me, would YOU be paying attention to business, if it were you. E-mail or fax your Representative or Senator, NO to CLEAR.

Yeah, I like the idea of Congressional gridlock, but they may actually need to make a law every now and then.
Trouble with them is, that obviously go slap crazy with the gobbly-de-gook regulating. Everything they do should go to referendum. We have the technology.

You're right! Rory is starting to distance himself from Daddy Lobbybucks! Yesterday, the firefighters did a protest walk in Reid's district (he is a sitting county commissioner) and his planned cutting of services....This gets no play from local media of course who are in Rory's pocket!!
Rory is cut from the same corrupt fabric as his dad and they are EXACTLY the same greedy, unprincipled, politicians and should be nowhere near the public coffers!!!
