Every fricking thing this administration proposes will end in disaster if it isn't passed. Its all got to be done in a big rush. What a bunch of jerks these people are. Oh, BTW, throw in if it doesn't get done then Obama will look bad. In the final analysis it is all about Him, isn't it?

This is a terrible treaty and should not be ratified. Obama's child-like dream for a nuclear-free world may work in the college dorms of Columbia University, but in the real world it could actually lead to a nuclear confrontation. We should be modernizing our nuclear arsenal, not dismantling it. And tell Iran and North Korea about the advantages of living in a nuclear-free world. I'm sure they'll give you a hearty laugh over that one. I just hope there is no major confrontation with Iran or North Korea (or even Russia or China, for that matter) until AFTER this liberal wimp leaves office in 2012. He is doubling down on an idea that has never worked (nuclear disarmament) and never will work. Ronald Reagan, where are you when we need you?

Fact of the matter is this: There will be no nuclear war between the US and the Russian Federation. There is absolutely no reason for a New Start treaty with Russia. The US is in no position to stop the proliferation of nuclear weapons. It never has been.

The countries that want the bomb will get the bomb. Example: Iran. Okay, and North Korea…Syria’s working on it. And … and it will go on and on.

The nuclear genie is out of the bottle as the saying goes.

And finally, treaties are made to be broken—by everyone else. Any treat the US okays, just puts the country on the griddle. Considering the administration’s track record on legislation I don’t have to see it to know it’s bad.
